Unidentified men burn Freeport?s car, attack post

Unidentified men have set one vehicle belonged to Papua giant miner PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) on Wednesday morning and trashed a guard post outside the company?s mining compound, Antara news agency reported.

Spokesman Mindo Pangaribuan said mining activities were unaffected by the incident and said police are currently conducting investigation.

AFP reported local police as saying that no one was injured in the incident.

PTFI is a unit of US giant miner Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold. (*)
