Unocal Indonesia to get new president

Unocal Group has appointed David A. Stangor new president director of Unocal Indonesia Company, company president director Brian Marcotte said Tuesday.

Marcotte told reporters he would officially hand over his post to Stangor next month.

Stangor is now senior vice president and general manager of Unocal Indonesia Balikpapan.

Meanwhile, Marcotte will be transferred to Unocal Group?s headquarters in California, USA.

Unocal Indonesia Company operates seven production sharing contract areas (PSC) in Indonesia namely East Kalimantan PSC, Makassar Strait PSC, Selulu PSC, Rapak PSC and Ganal PSC. The company also holds participating interest in Kapoposang, Bukat, and Ambalat PSCs.

Unocal signed its first production sharing contract with state oil and gas firm Pertamina in 1968. (godang)
