Unocal records Q3 Indonesian liquids, gas production increase

US independent oil, gas company Unocal Corp. reported its Indonesian third quarter net liquids and natural gas slightly increased along with prices improvement.

According to the company?s quarterly fact book released Thursday, Unocal produced 26,500 barrels of liquids per day from Indonesian operation, slightly increased from previous quarter?s production of 25,200 MBPD. Average realized liquid price for the third quarter was US$26.25 per barrel versus $24.65 in the previous quarter.

Unocal?s Indonesian gas production increased to 160 MMCFD in the third quarter, compared to 152 MMCFD the previous quarter. Average natural gas price during the third quarter was $3.74 per MCF, compared to $3.69 per MCF in the previous quarter.

Unocal operates several PSCs offshore East Kalimantan, with gas production goes to Bontang LNG plant. (alex)
