Unocal reports Q2 Indonesian production

US independent oil firm Unocal Corp. records net liquids production of 28,600 BPD from its Indonesian operations during the second quarter of 2004, lower than previous quarter liquids production of 30,100 BPD in the previous quarter, but higher compared to last year?s corresponding period production of 24,650 BPD.
According to the data released by Unocal on Monday, average liquids price reached US$33.14 per barrel, compared to $31 per barrel average in the previous quarter.
The company?s gas production dropped to 121 MMCFD in the second quarter compared to 128.6 MMCFD in the previous quarter and 152 MMCFD in year-ago corresponding quarter.
Average natural gas price improved to $4.86 per MCF in the second quarter compared to $4.19 per MCF in the previous quarter.
Unocal, which operates several PSCs offshore East Kalimantan, is one of Bontang LNG plant gas suppliers. (alex)
