Unocal?s Indonesian Q2 liquids, gas production up

According to the book?s report which was updated Tuesday, Unocal?s Indonesian crude, condensate and natural gas liquids averaged 25,200 barrels per day (BPD) in the second quarter, higher than previous quarter?s production of 21,300 BPD; while natural gas production increased to 152 MMCFD from 143.9 MMCFD in the previous quarter.
Average liquids selling prices in the second quarter was US$ 24.65 per barrel vs $29.21 per barrel in the previous quarter, and natural gas average price was $3.69 per MCF vs $3.98 per MCF in the previous quarter.
Unocal, which focuses its entire Indonesian operations in East Kalimantan partly supplies natural gas to Bontang LNG plant.
The company is expected to boost its crude production from its deep-water West Seno oil, gas field, which is expected to commence production next month. West Seno would initially produce 12,000 ? 13,000 BPD of crude, ramping up to 40,000 BPD by year-end. (alex)
