Unocal to develop Sadewa field

According to BPMigas-Unocal joint announcement seeking for inputs and comments for the field?s environmental impact assessment released Friday, Sadewa would be developed at two phases.
First phase would include construction of one main platform ?Zulu? and one auxiliary platform, development wells and 32-kilometer pipelines from the field to well platform and compressor at nearby Attaka field. Production capacity for first phase will be 300 MMCFD and 20,000 BPD, said BPMigas-Unocal joint announcement released on Friday.
The second phase development will involve construction of well platforms and 8-kilometer pipeline to ?Zulu?. The announcement did not say expected production capacity when the second phase development is completed.
According to Unocal?s release last year, the field has reserves of up to 600BCF and can be brought into production as early as 2005. The field is located in East Kalimantan PSC, where Unocal has 100 percent working interest. (alex)
