Update 1: BPMIGAS reshuffles middle management

Oil and gas upstream authority BPMIGAS has reshuffled its mid-level management in order to strengthen its organization.

 

The agency has replaced a total of 30 managers occupying various positions in division, section and sub-section levels due to retirement age and promotion.

 

Officials affected by the reshuffle include RB Heru Djoni Putranto, who was head of exploitation section for Kalimantan and Eastern Indonesia regions and has been promoted to become head of exploitation division in charge of planning; Handoyo Eko Wahono, who was head of prospect & lead exploration and evaluation study and has been promoted to be head of assessment and development division in charge of planning; Budi Indianto, who was head of oil and gas marketing section and has been promoted to become head of marketing division in charge of financial, economic and marketing affairs; Sokasrana Penangsang, who was head of health and safety section and has been promoted to be head of internal division in charge of general affairs, BPMIGAS said in a statement on Thursday.

 

Former head of assessment and planning division Sumitro Kardi Ronodimedjo has assumed a new position as expert staff for planning division, while Kuswo Wahyono, former head of exploitation division in charge of planning, has been appointed as an expert staff. Djoko Harsono, the former head of marketing division in charge of financial, economic and marketing affairs, has also been appointed as an expert staff. (Godang)
