Update: Freeport uncovers three more bodies

PT Freeport Indonesia said on Monday that its emergency response team had uncovered another three bodies out of the rubbles of the Big Gossan incident, in addition to the three they reported earlier this morning.

The names of the deceased are Ma?mur, Petrus Frengo Marangkerena and Petrus Padak Duli.

The company in its statement said that 14 workers remained unaccounted as of Monday.

President and CEO of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Richard C. Adkerson said: ?I have visited the accident site and met with our injured employees and the loved ones of those lost in this tragic event. I am deeply saddened and disturbed by this event. Our focus continues to be continuing efforts to gain access to the victims still buried at the accident, carried out as quickly as can be done safely. The entire Freeport family around the world joins Freeport Indonesia in grieving for our lost brothers.?
