Thai oil and gas firm PTTEP has transferred all of its interest in the South Sageri and Sadang blocks to Total E&P Indonesie (TEPI), Indonesian unit of French energy giant Total SA.

?Currently we are waiting for approval from SKK Migas (upstream authority),? General Manager of PTTEP Indonesia Titi Thongjen told Petromindo.com.

PTTEP holds 20 percent interest in the South Sageri block which is located offshore East Kalimantan. The firm has also a 30 percent interest in the Sadang block located offshore Makassar Straits.

If the transfer is approved, Total will hold a 100 percent interest in South Sageri and Sadang blocks, respectively.
