UT aims to develop 10 MW of mini hydro power plants

IDX-listed heavy equipment and energy company PT United Tractors Tbk through its trading subsidiary PT Bina Pertiwi aims to have a combined 10 MW of mini hydro power plants over the next four years.
This was said by United Tractors Independent Director Edhie Sarwono to Petromindo.com on Monday.
He said that the company has already completed the physical construction of a 0.45 MW mini hydro power plant in Banjarnegara, Central Java. The firm is currently waiting for a contractual agreement with state-owned electricity firm PT PLN.
Once the agreement with PLN has been reached, Edhi said, the company will develop other mini hydro power plant projects, but stopped short of providing further details.
