UT coal sales over 3.0MT as of June

Indonesia-listed heavy-equipment distributor and coal mining firm PT United Tractors (UT) Tbk reported Tuesday that coal sales during June period reached 442,000 tons from its two coal mines, Prima Multi Mineral (PMM) contributing 236,000 tons, and Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA) 206,000 tons.
TTA mine started first coal production at the end of 2011.
As of June, cumulative coal sales for the quarter reached 3.1 million tons, substantially increased compared to the same period in 2011 of 2.3 million tons.
Meanwhile, UT?s mining contractor unit PT Pamapersada Nusantara produced 7.7 million tons in June, up from 7.6 million tons in the same month of 2011. Pama?s overburden also increased to 71.5 million bcm compared to 71.2 million bcm in June 2011.
UT sold a total of 4.231 units of Komatsu heavy equipment for the quarter ending June of the year, slightly lower than 4.333 units in the same period of last year. Of the 4.231 units sold as of June, 2.556 units were sold to the mining sector
