UT completes acquisition of Perkasa Melati

IDX-listed PT United Tractors recently announced that its subsidiary company PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering has on June 6 completed 100 percent share acquisition of PT Perkasa Melati, a vessel maker and vessel refurbishment services provider based in Batam.
Perkasa Melati, known to hold special permit for a port in Batam shore since April 2010, is expected to support Pandu Engineering's business in product development, manufacturing, distribution and services of heavy equipment units.
The company did not disclose the value of the acquisition.
