UT reports increased coal sales in Feb

IDX-listed heavy equipment distributor PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) reported on Tuesday that its February 2010 coal sales from its PT Dasa Eka Jasatama mine in South Kalimantan has reached 251,000 tonnes.
The Company sold 232,000 tonnes of coal in January, making 2010 cumulative sale at 483,000 tonnes.
The Company?s other mine PT Tuah Turangga Agung in Central Kalimantan has started trial operations and will start commercial production in a few months.
UT also reported that in February its mine contractor unit PT Pamapersada Nusantara produced 6.3 million tonnes of coal for its clients, up from 6 million tonnes produced in January.
Pama also recorded to remove 53.2 million bcm of overburden for clients in January versus 46.3 million bcm in January. (alex)
