UT reports lower August coal sales from S. Kalimantan mine

South Kalimantan coal mining PT Dasa Eka Jasatama (DEJ), a unit of IDX-listed heavy equipment distributor and coal miner PT United Tractors (UT), sold 204,000 tons of coal in August this year, down from 297,000 tons in the same month last year.

Compared to the previous month, DEJ's coal sales also down from 233,000 tons tons, UT said in a statement on Wednesday.

DEJ's cumulative sales this year totaled 1.603 million tons as of August, lower compared to the same period of last year at 2.56 million tons

DEJ's coal product is sold to Noble Group and Glencore AG under terms contract. (denny)
