UT reports lower January coal sales from S. Kalimantan mine

South Kalimantan coal mining PT Dasa Eka Jasatama (DEJ), a unit of IDX-listed heavy equipment distributor and coal miner PT United Tractors (UT), sold 201,000 tons of coal in January 2009, down from 362,000 tons in the same month of 2008.

Compared to the previous month, DEJ's coal sales also down from 266,000 tons, UT said in a statement on Tuesday.

DEJ's coal is sold to Noble Group and Glencore AG under terms contract. (denny)
