UT?s August coal sales volume declines 8.5%

IDX-listed heavy equipment and coal mining company PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) reported that coal sales volume in August of this year reached 451,000 tons, or a 8.5 percent increase compared to 493,000 tons in the same month of last year.
The company operates four coal mines including Prima Multi Mineral (PMM) in South Kalimantan, and Asmin, Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA), and Duta Nurcahya (DN) located in Central Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, UT?s mining contractor unit PT Pamapersada Nusantara produced 10.2 million tons of coal in August, down compared to 10.6 million tons in the same month of 2015. Pama?s overburden removal was 67.1million bcm, down compared to 76.9 million bcm in August 2015.
UT sold a total of 1,385 units of Komatsu heavy equipment in August, down from 1,687 units in the same period of last year. Of the 1,385 units sold in august, 332 units were sold to the mining sector.
