UT?s August coal sales volume increases 13.3%

IDX-listed heavy equipment and coal mining company PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) reported recently that coal sales volume in August of this year reached 511,000 tons, or a 13.3 percent increase compared to 451,000 tons in the same month of last year.

The company operates four coal mines including Prima Multi Mineral (PMM) in South Kalimantan, and Asmin, Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA), and Duta Nurcahya (DN) located in Central Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, UT?s mining contractor unit PT Pamapersada Nusantara produced 10.3 million tons of coal in August, up compared to 10.2 million tons in the same month of 2016. Pama?s overburden removal was 75.0 million bcm, up compared to 67.1 million bcm in August 2016.

UT sold a total of 2,411 units of Komatsu heavy equipment in August this year, up from 1,385 units in the same period of last year. Of the 2,411 units sold in August, 1,229 units were sold to the mining sector.
