UT's DEJ coal sales up in February

JSX-listed heavy equipment distributor PT United Tractors (UT) reported on Friday its South Kalimantan coal mining unit PT Dasa Eka Jasatama coal sales in February increased by around 26.4 percent to 321,000 tons from the same month of last year.

But, compared to the previous month, coal sales decreased from 354,000 tons, UT said in a statement on Friday.

DEJ's cumulative sales totaled 675,000 tons as of February.

DEJ's coal product is sold to Noble Group and Glencore AG through UT's coal British Virgin Island-based trading arm Scenic Worldwide Ltd. under term contracts. (denny)
