UT's DEJ coal sales up in March

JSX-listed heavy equipment distributor PT United Tractors (UT) reported its South Kalimantan coal mining unit PT Dasa Eka Jasatama coal sales in March increased slightly to 325,000 tons from 286,000 tons in the same month of last year.

Compared to the previous month, coal sales also increased from 321,000 tons, UT said in a statement on Tuesday.

DEJ's cumulative sales totaled one million tons as of March.

DEJ's coal product is sold to Noble Group and Glencore AG through UT's coal British Virgin Island-based trading arm Scenic Worldwide Ltd. under term contracts. (denny)
