UT?s July coal sales volume increases 9.7%

IDX-listed heavy equipment and coal mining company PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) reported recently that coal sales volume in July of this year reached 498,000 tons, or a 9.7 percent increase compared to 552,000 tons in the same month of last year.
The company operates four coal mines including Prima Multi Mineral (PMM) in South Kalimantan, and Asmin, Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA), and Duta Nurcahya (DN) located in Central Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, UT?s mining contractor unit PT Pamapersada Nusantara produced 10.2 million tons of coal in July, up compared to 9.0 million tons in the same month of 2016. Pama?s overburden removal was 73.9 million bcm, up compared to 58.5 million bcm in July 2016.
UT sold a total of 2,061 units of Komatsu heavy equipment in July this year, up from 1,211 units in the same period of last year. Of the 2,061 units sold in July, 1,051 units were sold to the mining sector.
