UT?s June coal sales volume drops 122%

IDX-listed heavy equipment and coal mining company PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) reported recently that coal sales volume in June of this year reached 499,000 tons, or a 122 percent drop compared to 1,109,000 tons in the same month of last year.

The company operates four coal mines including Prima Multi Mineral (PMM) in South Kalimantan, and Asmin, Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA), and Duta Nurcahya (DN) located in Central Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, UT?s mining contractor unit PT Pamapersada Nusantara produced 8.4 million tons of coal in June, down compared to 8.9 million tons in the same month of 2016. Pama?s overburden removal was 62.8 million bcm, down compared to 62.9 million bcm in June 2016.

UT sold a total of 1,751 units of Komatsu heavy equipment in June this year, up from 1,036 units in the same period of last year. Of the 1,751 units sold in June, 893 units were sold to the mining sector.
