UT?s November coal sales volume drops 13%

IDX-listed heavy equipment and coal mining company PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) reported that coal sales volume in November of this year reached 266,000 tons, or a 13 percent drop compared to 309,000 tons in the same month of last year.
UT said in a statement recently that its total coal output in the first 11 months of this year was down by 12 percent to 4,421,000 tons from 5,066,000 tons in the same period in 2014.
The company operates four coal mines including Prima Multi Mineral (PMM) in South Kalimantan, and Asmin, Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA), and Duta Nurcahya (DN) located in Central Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, UT?s mining contractor unit PT Pamapersada Nusantara produced 9.6 million tons of coal in November, up compared to 9.4 million tons in the same month of 2014. Pama?s overburden removal was 55.7million bcm, down compared to 65.6 million bcm in November 2014.
UT sold a total of 2,002 units of Komatsu heavy equipment in November, down from 3,403 units in the same period of last year. Of the 2,002 units sold in November, 560 units were sold to the mining sector.
