UT?s October coal sales volume jumps 54%

IDX-listed heavy equipment and coal mining company PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) reported that coal sales volume in October of this year reached 323,000 tons, or a 54 percent jump compared to 209,000 tons in the same month of last year.

The company operates four coal mines including Prima Multi Mineral (PMM) in South Kalimantan, and Asmin, Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA), and Duta Nurcahya (DN) located in Central Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, UT?s mining contractor unit PT Pamapersada Nusantara produced 9.9 million tons of coal in October, up compared to 8.6 million tons in the same month of 2015. Pama?s overburden removal was 58.5million bcm, down compared to 64.9 million bcm in October 2015.

UT sold a total of 1,806 units of Komatsu heavy equipment in October, down from 1,870 units in the same period of last year. Of the 1,806 units sold in October, 487 units were sold to the mining sector.
