UT?s unit sold 2.07 MT of coal until October

Indonesian listed firm heavy PT United Tractors (UT) said on Friday its South Kalimantan coal miner PT Dasa Eka Jasatama sold a total of 2,070,000 tons of coal in ten month period until October this year, up from 2,010,000 tons in the same period of last year.
UT has also subsidiries involved in providing mining contracting service and selling heavy equipment.
Meanwhile, its mining contractor subsidiary, PT Pamapersada, produced a total of 64.0 million of coal in the January-October 2010 period, up from 55.5 million in the same period of last year. Its overburden production rose to 541.2 million bcm, from 493.8 million bcm.
The firm sold a total of 4,671 units of Komatsu heavy equipment in the first ten months of the year, up from 2,534 units in the same period of last year. (kanti)
