UT?s unit sold 2.31 MT of coal until November

Listed heavy equipment firm PT United Tractors (UT) said on Friday its South Kalimantan coal miner PT Dasa Eka Jasatama sold a total of 2,319,000 tons of coal in eleven month period until November this year, up from 2,197,000 tonnes in the same period of last year.
UT has also subsidiries involved in providing mining contracting service and selling heavy equipment.
Meanwhile, its mining contractor subsidiary, PT Pamapersada, produced a total of 70.8 million tons of coal in the January-November 2010 period, up from 62.0 million tons in the same period of last year. Its overburden production rose to 595.3 million bcm, from 545.7 million bcm.
The firm sold a total of 5,091 units of Komatsu heavy equipment in the first eleven months of the year, up from 2,833 units in the same period of last year. (kanti)
