V.S Industry bags coal supply contract from TNB

Malaysian firm V.S. Industry Berhad announced on Wednesday that its Indonesian associated company PT.VS. Mining Resources had received a Letter of Acceptance from TNB Fuel Services Sdn Bhd to supply 65,000 tonnes of steam coal to a power plant in Manjung, Perak.

Other significant contract secured by PTVS Mining is the supply of coal to Indonesia Power, one of the major power suppliers in Indonesia. PTVS Mining also supply substantial amount of coal to various power generation stations in Indonesia, the company said without further elaborating.

V.S has 45 percent shares in PTVS Mining, which in turn has 100 percent interest in PT. Berkat Banua Inti PTBBI), a coal mining company with mines located in South Kalimantan. (alex)
