Vale invites firms to participate in coal supply tender

IDX-listed integrated nickel mining firm PT Vale Indonesia Tbk invited domestic coal companies to participate in a tender to supply coal for its plant in Sorowako, South Sulawesi.

Vale said in an announcement seen Thursday that interested coal firms must have at least five years of experience in supplying 48,000 tons of coal per month. The company said it is seeking for coal with gross calorific value of 5,700 kcal/Mt.

The company added that those interested to participate in the intender must submit various administrative documents including the so-called clean and clear (C&C) status for miners holding the IUP mining permits.

Letter of interest signed by company director attached with required administrative documents must be submitted by June 9, 2016 at the latest to the following address:
