Vale output increases 36% in Q4

IDX-listed nickel producer PT Vale Indonesia Tbk reported that nickel production from Sorowako project reached 23,000 ton in third quarter last year, an increase of 36.2% compared to previous period.
It said that the increase was due to result of process improvements with output rose by 51.6% relative to 4Q11, when there was a metal cut-out.
A subsidiary of Vale, the world's second biggest mining company headquartered in Brazil, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk was established in 1968, formerly known as PT International Nickel Indonesia.
