Vano seeks coal production permit

Coal mining company PT Vano Anugrah Sentosa, a subsidiary of PT Energy Nusa Mandiri, is seeking to obtain operation and production permit for its coal mine in Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan Province.
Energy Nusa Mandiri has two coal mining subsidiaries namely PT Vano and PT Pesona Khatulistiwa Nusantara (PKN). Vano has yet to decide as to when it will start production.
?We are still in the process to upgrade (the IUP mining) permit to production IUP,? Jeffry Mulyono, President Director of PKN told Petromindo.com.
According to company website, Vano has 12.6 million tons of reserves with calorific value of 3,150 kcal/kg (GAR).
