Vico awarded ISO 14001 certificate

Oil and gas producer Vico Indonesia on Monday received ISO 14001 certificate from an international certification agency, Environmental Resources Management (ERM), East Kalimantan-based Kaltim Post daily reported.
ERM?s senior executive Frank Niyman presented the certificate to VICO president Simon Potter in a ceremony in Jakarta.
Vico?s executive Holland Simanjuntak said Vico had spent around Rp 25 billion (US$1=Rp9038) on environmental preservation projects from since early last year.
Vico operates several oil fields in Kutai Kertanegara Regency in East Kalimantan. (*)
