Roberto Lorato from ENI on Thursday was formally appointed President and CEO of East Kalimantan gas producer VICO Indonesia to replace outgoing Simon Potter from BP Plc.
Simon Potter is replaced after being president and CEO for three years.
VICO Indonesia is the operator of Sanga-Sanga PSC onshore East Kalimantan, producing 1.1 billion cubic feet of gas and 35,000 barrels of gas liquids per day. VICO supplies roughly 30 percent of Bontang LNG plant gas requirement. BP and ENI have equal shares in VICO Indonesia.
Potter said 2003 capital expenditure for Sanga-Sanga PSC was US$80 million, which would be used mainly for drilling development and exploration wells. (alex/godang)
