VICO lowers drilling activity this year: SKK Migas

Oil and gas upstream authority SKK Migas said that Virginia Indonesia Co. (VICO) has made a revision to its work plan relating to the drilling of new wells in the Sanga-Sanga block in East Kalimantan this year.

Deputy for Operation Control of SKK Migas Muliawan said to Petromindo.com that VICO reduced the number of wells in its drilling program to 12 from 40 new wells set under the original 2016 Work Program & Budget (WP&B).

Participants of the block are BP East Kalimantan Ltd (26.25 percent), Lasmo Sanga Sanga Ltd (26.25 percent), Virginia International Co. (15.625 percent), Virginia Indonesia Co. (7.5 percent), Opicoil Houston Inc. (20 percent), and Universe Gas & Oil Company Inc. (4.37 percent).
