VICO may start CBM production this year

VICO Indonesia, the operator of Sanga Sanga CBM PSC onshore East Kalimantan may start gas production this year if its exploration program is successful, President and CEO Craig Steward said on Tuesday.
Craig said the company will drill 10 additional wells in 2011 and 5 dewatering wells until the second quarter of 2011.
He did not give further detail.
VICO Indonesia has been producing conventional gas from Sanga Sanga PSC for 40 years and is targeting to be the world?s first CBM-to-LNG producer.
VICO is jointly controlled by UK giant BP plc and Italy?s Eni SpA. (bernard)
