Villager blocks access road to Jembayan coal mine

A villager has blocked the access road to a coal mine owned by PT Jembayan Muara Bara (JMB) in Bhuana Jaya village, Tanggarong Seberang district in Kutai Kartanegara regency, East Kalimantan for using their property without a permit, Tribune Kaltim newspaper reported Friday.
The local newspaper reported that the villager, accompanied with their lawyer, said that the company had used a part of their land as access road to haul its coal production.
JMB is a coal unit of Singapore-exchange listed firm Straits Asia Resources. (*)
