Villagers blockade ABK haul road

Tens of villagers on Tuesday set a blockade at East Kalimantan coal miner PT.Anugerah Bara Kaltim (ABK) hauling road, causing transportation activities to halt for 10 hours, local media Tribun Kaltim reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the villagers erected tents at the haul road, forcing trucks to return to base.
The villagers carried out blockade as they considered the company failed to fulfill its community development promises.
The blockade ended after the villagers reached agreement with the company. (*)
