West Sumatra based PT Visage Energy & Coal, wholly-owned by Farlin Group, has said that the company would increase its production to 2.5 million tons this year.
The company produced 1.5 million tons of coal last year, most of which was exported to China and India. "Our actual target is to produce 2.5 million tons (this year) but I predict we could even reach up to 3 million tons," a source of the company told Petromindo.com.
"Our problem now is on transportation affairs," the source added.
Visage Energy has five concessions in West Sumatra with coal calorific values rangeing from 5,500 kcal/kg to 6,500 kcal/kg (ADB).
