VP to visit PT Bukit Asam

Vice President Megawati Soekarnoputri is scheduled to visit the industrial complex of the state-owned coal company PT Bukit Asam in Muara Enim as part of its working trip to South Sumatera on Saturday, Sriwijaya Pos reported on Tuesday.

HA Sofjan Effendie, the regent of Muaraenim, said on Tuesday that the Vice President and her entourage would have a close look on the state owned coal company's mining activities and coal briquette project during a brief visit in the company's complex.

After visiting the company's complex, the Vice President would stay overnight in Prabumulih before visiting industrial projects in Palembang, Sofjan said.(*)
