W. Java to auction geothermal prospect

West Java provincial government will open bidding for development of Papandayan geothermal prospect next year, an official said as reported by Koran Tempo.

The prospect, which is located in Garut regency, has potential to generate 160-MW of electricity, Garut Mining and Water Resources Office Head Widiana said.(*)
