Well completion in progress in Jangkrik field

Italian firm Eni SpA is currently carrying out well completion as part of the preparation for the start of production of the Jangkrik fields of the Muara Bakau offshore Makassar Strait block.
"All well drillings were finalized at the end of December 2015. The operator has started well completion, which is expected to last until the end of December 2016,? Head of the Muara Bakau Project Acceleration Unit at upstream authority SKK Migas, Eko Hariadi said to Petromindo.com.
?Completion? is the term used in the petroleum industry to refer activities aimed at making wells ready for production
Eko said earlier that as of January 2016, the progress of Jangkrik Complex Project Development has reached 56 percent.
Production at the block is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2017. The Jangkrik Complex Project Development covers two gas fields, namely Jangkrik and Jangkrik North East. The first is projected to produce an estimated 300 mmscfd, while the second 150 mmscfd.
Eni is the operator of the block with 55 percent of working interest, whereas the other JV partners are GDF Suez Exploration Indonesia, a subsidiary of ENGIE, formerly GDF SUEZ, with 33.334 percent stake and Saka Energi Muara Bakau with 11.666 percent stake.
