WestSide appoints ARI to conduct coal seam gas study at KPC

Queensland-Australian coal seam gas (CSG) firm WestSide Corporation said it had appointed US-based CSG experts Advanced Resources International (ARI) to conduct the Project Definition Study (PDS) foundation work at East Kalimantan coal miner PT. Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) area.
The company said seismic and drilling data is being analysed and the first steps have been taken to mobilize mine site equipment and services to gather critical data for assessment.
The company also signed JV deal with JSX-listed firm PT.Bumi Resources to evaluate and develop CSG potential in Bumi?s KPC and Arutmin Indonesia?s mines.
Bumi holds 27.5 percent of WestSide's shares (denny)
