PT Wangge Flores Setiawan (WFS) plans to build a 10,000 kilo liter-capacity diesel fuel storage facility in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, reports said on Monday.

Tribunnews said that the Sikka Regency administration has sent a letter dated October 20 to WFS, providing support for the company?s plan to build the fuel storage, which is expected to require total investment of US$64 million.

The letter was a response to the company?s earlier letter expressing its interest to develop the facility.

But Okky Setiawan, Chief Commissioner at WFS, was quoted as saying that the company has been disturbed by recent developments including the resignation of Agustinus Rera from the company?s board of commissioners. Agustinus is the son of the Sikka Regent, Tribun said.

Okky also questioned the motive of WFS secretary, Delarosa to steal a company laptop containing data of the planned project. Delarosa is now detained by the local police. (*)
