The following is an excerpt taken from White Energy Company (WEC)?s Highlights 2010 released on Friday.(ed)

In 2010 we commissioned our first 1 Mtpa coal upgrading plant via PT Kaltim Supacoal (our 51% owned Indonesian subsidiary), with KSC now in operating mode. White Energy took a cautious approach to commissioning the first commercial sized coal plant due to the importance in 'getting it right'. This approach to commissioning will assist us with a more rapid roll-out of the subsequent plants. Despite the delay in complet?ing the commissioning phase, during May 2010 KSC sold its first shipment of upgraded coal.

Despite these achievements, 2010 was viewed with some degree of frustration by the White Energy technical team due to the delays in ramping up the production capacity of the coal plant because of challenges with the coal injection and dust extraction systems Subsequent engineering modifications performed on the plant have largely addressed these impediments to KSC operating the plant at name plate production levels These design and engineering improvements form part of our evolving intellectual property and will ensure the optimisation of all future plants

2011 promises to be an exciting year for KSC White Energy and Bayan Resources intend to make a decision on the roll out schedule for the next four coal upgrading plants at KSC later this year once the existing plant is fully optimised. (end of excerpt)
