Wijaya Karya secures contract to build Bosowa?s LPG terminal

State listed construction company PT Wiajaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) has secured contract from PT Bosowa Duta Energasindo, a member of Bosowa group based in Makassar, to build a liquid propane gas (LPG) terminal in Makassar, the largest in eastern Indonesia worth US$70 million.

The company said the project will be built within the next 20 months.

Wika will team up with PT Budi Bakti Prima and PT Mursa Utama Sulsera in developing the project. The project contract value for Wika is around Rp260 billion in line with its interest in the project, the company said in a statement.

In addition, the company also secured a contract to develop hauling road for coal along 60 kilometers in West Kutai, East Kalimantan province, owned by PT Gunung Bara Utama. The groundbreaking of the project was done in mid September, with contract value of Rp 311 billion.

With the two contracts, Wika?s new contract in the first nine months to September has reached Rp9.1 trillion, or 73 percent of the company?s full year target of Rp12.3 trillion. (giok/roffie)
