Wika bags coal supply contract from Chinese firm

Coal trading firm PT Wika Intrade Energi, which is a unit of IDX-listed engineering contrator PT Wijaya Karya Tbk has signed long-term deal on November 9 to supply coal to Chinese firm STIG Jaingshu Light and Textile, Kontan daily reported.
Under the deal Wika would initially supply 2-5 million tones of coal to the company, gradually ramping up to 5 million per annum, Corporate Secretary Natal Agrawan said, adding that shipment will start in 2011.
He did not disclose the contract?s duration.(*)
