Wika, Chengda team up to build Asam-Asam coal-fired power plant

Chengda holds 73 percent stake in the project and the remaining 27% held by Wika, Wika?s Corporate Secretary, Natal Argawan said on Thursday.
Construction of the plant has recently begun and it is expected to be completed within this year with commercial operation date (COD) scheduled early next year, he said. The project is worth of Rp 1.3 trillion (US$ = Rp 8,550)
Apart from the South Kalimantan project, Wika and Chengda should also complete the 2x25 MW Amurang coal-fired power plant in North Sulawesi next year, he added.
At present, Wika has been also engaged in a number of investment projects including Pasanggaran diesel power plant with a capacity of 3x18 MW in Bali, Borang combined-cycle fired power plant with a capacity of 60 MW in South Sumatra and the Ketapang coal-fired power plant with a capacity of 2x10 MW in West Kalimantan.
