Wika Power seeks strategic partner for geothermal project

PT Wika Jabar Power, a unit of Indonesia-listed construction firm PT Wijaya Karya Tbk, is seeking a strategy partner to help the company in developing the 40 MW Tampomas geothermal power plant in Sumedang, West Java, Bisnis Indonesia reported Friday.
Wijaya Karya Corporate Secretary, Natal Argawan said that the strategic partner is needed because the company and its existing partner in the project, PT Jasa Sarana, do not have the capacity in carrying out geothermal exploration.
?We?re seeking partner which has both the capacity to carry out geothermal exploration and funds,? he said. (*)
