Wika-Technip consortium gets Matindok EPC contract

IDX-listed construction firm PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (Wika) announced on Wednesday that the consortium comprising itself and PT Technip Indonesia has been awarded by PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state owned own oil and gas firm PT Pertamina the EPC contract to develop Gas Production Facility at Matindok block in Central Sulawesi.
In a statement with the Indonesian Stock Exchange, the firm said the contract value is US$234 million, excluding value added taxes, while the he contract duration is 26 months.
The firm however did not provide details about the project.
It said it has 70 percent shares in the consortium.
Matindok is one of the blocks which will supply gas to the Donggi-Senoro LNG plant which is now under construction.
