Wika-Technip gets EPC contract for Matindok project

PT Pertamina EP, an upstream subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has awarded an EPC contract to the consortium of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (Wika) and PT Technip Indonesia to build the gas production facility of Matindok field in Central Sulawesi.

The contract was signed by PEP?s President Director Adriansyah and President Director of Wika Bintang Prabowo on May 22, PEP said in a statement obtained on Monday.

The contract worth US$234 million has a duration of 24 months starting from the signing date.

The project located in Batui district, Banggai regency has a production target of 55 mmscfd and is expected to come onstream end March 2016.
