Indonesia-listed construction firm PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (Wika) stated that it expects to complete the construction of the 70 kilometers coal hauling road in West Kutai, East Kalimantan, by next April, 2013.

"The land piling and bridge constructions have been done simultaneously. At least 30 percent of the project has been completed," said company director Budi Harto to Petromindo.

Wika said it had spent about Rp 90 billion of the allocated Rp320 billion total fund for the project.

In addition to the West Kutai project, the company had in September 2011 signed a contract with PT Gunung Bara Utama to do a similar hauling road project.
