Winners of 2009 subsidized fuel tender announcement delayed

BPH Migas, the downstream oil and gas regulatory body, said on Tuesday that the announcement of the winners of tender for the distribution and sales of subsidized fuels for next year had delayed to Dec 24, 2008 from the earlier scheduled of Dec. 9, 2008.

Tubagus Haryono, the head of BPH Migas, said in Jakarta that the agency was still verifying the bids based on both technical and financial criteria set in the tender requirements.

There are six companies taking part in the tender. They are Pertamina, Shell, AKR, Bumi Asri Prima Pratama, Petronas and Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indonesia (TPPI). (godang)
